Tioga Pass Fatbike Descent (GoPro 4)

This POV footage was taken in February of 2015 on Tioga Pass (CA). Normally, there would be quite a few feet of snow on the road at most elevations in the middle of winter. However, due to the extremely dry and warm conditions that have persisted through out the winter of 2015, we didn’t hit snow until about 9,500 ft.

Upon reaching the top of the pass we filmed some fat bike lines on snow that one could only assume were first descents. Some of this footage was used in “Off the Beaten Path.”

This is about as fast as I ever want to go on a fat bike on pavement …
