After digging out our own parking spot in the Sno-Park we started our tour, skiing past cabins that were almost completely buried. We began in t shirts, enjoying the warm sun and becoming skeptical of what kind of snow conditions we would encounter. Once we got to the ridge line we found ourselves in winter storm conditions, transitioning to ski/ride mode in heavy winds and blowing snow. The snow that awaited us was far better than we initially expected.
