POV footage and stills from Box Car Rapid (Class III) on the Lower Deschutes River. For this section I got out above the river and took stills as the raft moved through it. Instead of focusing on detailed shots of the raft in the rapid I used a 24 – 70 lens to include the canyon and the surrounding landscape.

Moody Rapid — Lower Deschutes River (GoPro 6)

This was the final rapid on a 100 mile journey down the Lower Deschutes River in Oregon. We battled fierce headwinds though out the day, so it almost came as a relief to know that we were approaching our end point. Otherwise, it was a great trip and an amazing adventure.

After this rapid we briefly paddled on some flat water and then saw the mighty Columbia in the distance.
