Peak Fall Color at the Shores of Lake Tahoe

There are only so many aspen stands that extend right to the shores of Lake Tahoe. Knowing that this one was in peak color I went out on my SUP to capture this scene from the water during golden hour. I floated around and waited until the most golden moment, just before the light began to fade and the sun disappeared behind the mountains to the west …

For a few reasons I ended up liking the vertical version of this scene better, so that is what I have added to the my Lake Tahoe Basin Gallery.
