The wind was fairly insignificant in north facing trees until I reached this exposed spot at the summit where I took this photo from. Once there I could really feel the next storm trying to make it’s way up and over the Sierra crest, which it is still trying to do right now as I write this …
The snow above 8,500 ft was still fun to make turns on, but less so below that, which was to be expected with the warm temps, time of day, recent high elevation rains.
